flickr. flickr. flickr. oh how i love thee. seriously, though. i have discovered so many talented artists on that sight on my daily trawls. i am constantly impressed. i recently found lydia bradbury a young artist from new zealand. (seems i'm really getting into the lovely kiwi gals today!) what drew me to lydia's work is the way in which she uses pencil in her 
drawings. the strokes seem almost fluid. her use of texture and color is impressive and bright. i get a very dreamy feel when i look at them. it's apt that her latest show is called "sleepwalking in the forest." keep an eye on her, i'm positive she'll be going places.
