i am so excited. i just spent $23, leaving me w/ $3 dollars left! YES. (i now have 2 jobs, yes, 2 count 'em.) i just bought the tiny showcase, katy horan "healers" print. i am so delighted. clearly god was on my side tonight as these prints fly of the proverbial shelves over at tiny showcase!
i was reminded of tiny showcase through the great blog creature comforts. i discovered katy horan, who has quickly become one of my favorite artists, through one of my favorite blogs, slow progress. and now i have purchased a great print, all thanks to the world wide intra web and the wonderful community of the blogosphere. it's all come full circle. who cares if i will be eating pb & j til payday, i'll rest easy tonight knowing i did a wee bit of good by shelling out $23 bucks, a portion of the proceeds go to to global green rebuliding of new orleans.
if you aren't aware of tiny showcase you should most definitely check the site out. each week they offer up limited edition prints and the artist chosen that week chooses a charity of their choice. that way you can help out and get great affordable art in the process. do it. i bet there is still time to get katy's print! hurry.
