katrine k. is a norwegian artist who by her own account is someone: "who make [sic] pictures all the time, that`s me. I just can`t stop."  how effin adorable is that?  go, katrine go!

katrine lives in norway w/ her two daughters.  she is inspired by dreams, fantasy and poetry she sees in everyday life.

i'm personally enjoying katrine's continual will to churn out her drawings and digital collages.  her images are gorey-esque, they often depict pale faced girls draped in gray frocks, waiting patiently for only what katrine knows. 

katrine has a shop on etsy and is now selling a few prints on the shiny squirrel.  she is also busy w/ two identical blogs, one in her native tongue and one for the english speaking among us.  yay, that is so sweet.

Thank you for writing about katrine--she is one of my very favorite artists, and is extremely kind as well. Her art is very moody, as you mention, and is just so incredibly beautiful! I think she is truly amazing. I can't stop buying her images!
