...they certainly do.  this online boutique stocks some of the cutest and unique items you ever did see.  oh makool, i think i love you too!  always and forever a big fan of the accessory, i've been coveting the sarah ogren miss bunny and horse lady necklaces.  i'm also really loving the kitty badges.  so cute.  one of those little buggers would certainly brighten up my black north face puffy jkt that i haven't taken off since ummm, well since this snow won't seem to give up.

i'm  a little late getting this up, due to life and stuff and junk and things and not to mention all this godforsaken snow that will just NOT stop.  also, i just can't stop listening to the new kanye west.  jeez, why is he so brilliant?

i know most of my posts start out how 'awesome' and 'wonderful' the certain artist i am writing about is...but that is the best thing about writing a blog; i don't have to write about anything i don't like.  i do what i want.  and truth be told, they are awesome and wonderful.  well, brandi milne is above and beyond those  descriptions.  brandi's work is brimming over w/ layer upon layer of gorgeous detail.  brandi paints landscapes that are exotic, fanciful and ever so inviting, i could stare at her work for a good long time.

brandi's first solo show, sugar & silence just opened at corey helford gallery last saturday.  already almost every piece has sold, and it's no wonder really, the paintings are phenomenal.  a self taught artist, it's so great to see brandi rocking it.  you can check her website for a slide show of the work at the show.

ghost patrol: new work.

ghost patrol just added new work to his shop for sale...and boy, is it ever adorable.  it was so hard to choose from the images to decide what to put up here.  but i decided to leave some out so you guys get a little bit of a surprise when you go to his website and shop for all those xmas prezzies you need to buy.

ghost patrol, an incredibly talented and dynamic artist, lives in melbourne, australia.  he works in all types of medium.  his line is incredibly smooth and often of the cutest little guys you ever did see.  gp has been super busy as of late w/ lots of shows.  come january 4th he will be in the group show fight for flight, a special benefit show at thinkspace gallery.  which should be an amazing show and def. not to be missed.  if you can't make it there, check out gp's website and his ever full flickr page.

israeli street artist know hope  has been fast at work.  he just added a bunch of new photos on his flickr site.  as usual the wheate pastes, 3-d images and lantern stuff is awe inspiring and perfect metaphorical images for this time of year...makes you think a little bit.  his pieces are always heart felt and beautiful.

jovi schnell.

lush, color, beauty.  when ever it snows i crave brightness.  jovi schnell's goauche paintings are so rife w/ color they almost pulsate.  they are gorgeous,  symbolistic, dare i say orgyastic explosions of color?  oh wow, i said it.  i almost want to eat them they look so good.  ok, i'm sorry.  i've been cooped up all day in the house, we have a huge snow storm happening here in ol' new england.

anyway, jovi's work is gorgeous and if you live in san francisco you can see it live and in person at the gregory lind gallery.  the show opened on saturday and goes through the 19th of january.  it'll be a great way to shoo away those gray winter blues.
