i don't think i've shouted enough about my love for ruby mag. i could go on and on, but i will spare you...plus i know you guys have to get to your superbowl parties. GO PATS! i first saw hillery sproatt's work on the latest issue of ruby. i fell in love w/ her simply written piece, smitten. god, how cute and sincere. for something so small i think it has so much depth. i love it. it reminds me of earnest bathroom graffiti. just out there for the world to acknowledge, take it in, smile, move on, and the word smitten will forever be emblazoned on their brain. hillery's work is a lot like this. small in measure, but beautifully and subtly done. and yet it sticks w/ you as you carry on. see more on hillery's website or check out ruby's issue 25.
