i'm just gonna say it right off the bat: i love the work of esther pearl watson. just so you know now, so when you start reading you're not like "hey wait a minute, this post is super biased". ha! but then again i only write about what i love. so it should come as no surprise that i truly love esther's work. like an obsessive, sort of want to marry it, be my bff kind of way. i'm not ashamed to admit it. esther's work tells a narrative of a childhood growing up around massive DIY spaceships, evictions, teenage escapades and embarrassing parental tales. ummm, hello. sounds like an average childhood to me. what's not to love?
