i'm not sure about you, but i'm a bit of a late bloomer. at one point in my life, i was sure of my career. then one day, i woke up and poof. i realized i never wanted to do that again. kind of like that scene in bottle rocket when anthony says "not only did i not want to answer that question, but i realized i never wanted to answer another question about water sports again.". yeah, kind of like that. so when i stumble upon young talent who are so clearly following their dreams, i am always so blown away.
i'm not sure where i first saw kiddet's work. i sent her an email asking to post about her work, asking about any shows, prints etc. she wrote back very sweetly giving me her real name, telling me she lives in stockholm and is in high school at the moment. wow. i love her delicate illustrations and dark water colors. i can't wait to see more. keep an eye on kiddet's flickr page and her blog.
