you're swell. you are. so.

awhile back i used to slip random people notes. yes, random strangers. i would slip them notes of paper, when they weren't looking or i'd leave it tied to their bike, or left on the saucer of their coffee cup. nothing creepy. or at least i didn't think so. in my opinion they were individual personal service announcements (you know, as opposed to PUBLIC service announcements. you feel me?). for instance, if i thought a girl looked cute in her dress, i wrote it down and left it for her unwittingly. or if i though a dude had a nice cap or a sweet bike, i told him in the form of a note. it was incredibly satisfying and to be honest slightly exhilarating and above all fun. so fun. it's nice to let people know they rock. so i was thinking we should get classier and get these cards from hulda press. can't get much swankier and classic than letter press, peeps. come on let's do it, let's start this summer off right.

I remember you mentionning the notes before, today I took the plunge and made some "you are a beaut" notes with strips cut off the edges of watercolour paintings and a black pen. I chickened out at first and just stuck em in the bark of a nice trees... and now I see such things are purchasable, sweet jebus!
