hilary pecis' show from the paradigm shift, opened last week at receiver gallery in san francisco. her layered drawings and collages are breathtaking. influenced by technology and folk art, hilary blends her mediums seamlessly. they have a dark, beautiful armageddon like feel to them with shards of color from glossy magazines dispersed with out. from the paradigm shift closes on september 26th.

i am so excited for kelly at little paper planes! check this out:
"After running the online store, Little Paper Planes for four years where I specialize in mainly art prints, I realized the natural progression for the site is to start producing prints that are exclusive to the store. Being an artist myself, I am drawn to the tactile and the process which lead me to letterpress prints.
This Saturday will launch the first 10 prints all 5 x 7in, in an editions of 100 which is part of the new Little Paper Press which will be found on LPP. They will be launched at the gallery as well as on Little Paper Planes.
The launch will be at the Tinlark Gallery in Hollywood which will be displayed along with originals by the 10 artists this is the first Little Paper Planes show I curated so I am pretty excited about it. For this first 10, I chose artists that were currently selling on the site. I looked for artists that complimented each other aesthetically though each having a unique voice within their work."
this is super exciting! i'll be sure to keep you posted on specific prints and such. but just check out that list! an awesome line up.
