I can't think of a better way than to start off Monday's blog posts than with the artwork of Melinda Josie. Her paintings of animals in anthropmorphic states make me feel calm and ready for anything a Monday is gonna dish my way. Her painting of the Shiba-inu dog in the mushroom house reminded me immediately of the puppies. Plus, her fabric! Oh man, I grew up in a home where collecting fabric was sport...what I wouldn't do to have a yard of that birch tree fabric.
