This week I drove out to Concord, MA to visit my friend Tracy at her studio where she runs her company Happy Owl Glassworks. The leaves are just peaking here in Boston, so the drive out was such a reminder of how lucky I am to live in New England. Plus, when I arrived in Concord Center...my god, it was like arriving onto a movie set of picture perfect Cozy Town USA. It was beautiful!
When i arrived Tracy was silk-screening her owl night lights, it was great to see her in action. While she worked I rummaged around looking at everything. There were soooo many inspiring things to look at: her signature recycled glass pendants, badges, dishes, her inspiration wall. I also got a look at a new line of pieces Tracy'll be debuting this spring. Very exciting! I love seeing where people work! I hope you enjoy the pictures. It's my first studio visit with more to come.
Check out Tracy in the brand spanking new awesome book Handmade Nation. Which, AH-HEMMM, you should know because you should own that book by now. RIGHT? Also, she's got a SALE going on right now on her site...check it out, it's her migration sale! 30% off all things winged until friday November 14th. Oh and don't forget to check out her etsy shop and blog as well!

So great to see this studio peek... I like wearing my happy owl pin.

By the way, I've actually made an oil painting from the same picture you're using as a banner! Horses are the best <3
