Two of my very favorite establishments, Analogue Books and Tiny Showcase are coming together tonight in Edinburgh at Analogue for the opening of a Tiny Showcase exhibition, "None The Less: A Tiny Showcase Showcase". Here is a little info on the Tiny Showcase and the show:
Tiny Showcase began in 2004 as a website founded on the principals of making art accessible and affordable. Since that time TS has created a forum for the entire art community - from artists to collectors to people who never thought they would ever consider themselves a collector but now find themselves involved and in love with art. Every week TS publishes a limited edition reproduction of an original piece of art. A portion of the proceeds from those sales go towards the charity of the artist's choice. In addition to the weekly prints, TS also publishes original posters, tee shirts, lunar calendars and letterpress prints. The variety of art featured on the site has ranged from graphic design to fine art, from graphite drawings to screenprints. "None The Less" presents a cross-section of the Tiny Showcase aesthetic that has developed over the years since their first print - an ink drawing of a small dog on a fishing line, drawn by one of the site's co-founders while bored one afternoon at work. Straight from the TS secret archives, many out-of-print images will be featured. Editioned prints from these popular releases which had been reserved, or lost and unearthed, will be available for sale.

i'm going to visit at some point, i can't wait.
