Macho Mel.

You may recognize Brooklyn based artist Macho Mel's work, as she has made cover art for such bands as Coco Rosie and Bunny Rabbit. Recently chatting with Mel over email she told me that she is actually color blind, so she doesn't use color a ton, but that she loves tie-dye and if she could paint in it she would.

so cool! i could look at those lines and pattern work for ages. and colour blind - inspiring. i wondered how an artist would go if colour blind obviously no obstacle for mel! xx
