Scott Campbell's dollar bill sculptures are pretty breathtaking and well, just kind of nuts. Scott painstakingly draws on each dollar bill, measuring out every line meticulously. Then each bill is laser-cut and glued one on top of the other creating the sculptures you see here. NUTS. His first European solo show Always Almost There opens tomorrow at Lazarides Inc, in London.
Sean Morris and Sarah McNeil have joined forces via the internet and in person for their upcoming show Maybe Forever. An exploration into people's spiritual beliefs surrounding wanting to live forever, Sean and Sarah have captured the humorous and at times dark sides of people's fear around mortality. The show opens this Friday, October 2nd at Hibbleton Gallery in Fullerton, Ca.

Oh man, Jillian MacIntosh of Gallery Six in SF just graced my inbox with these paintings of Charmaine Olivia's. They're stunning aren't they? Charmaine got her start painting as a little girl with soy sauce on napkins. It's awesome to think of a little girl dabbling with condiments, who then grew up to make such gorgeous work... If you are lucky enough to live in San Francisco, make sure you stop by
Charmaine's solo show Urban Menagerie opening October 16th at Gallery Six.
