Billy Sprague.

I have been meaning to cover Billy Sprague's drawings for some time, but with moving across the country at a moments notice, then getting settled...I am beyond behind in what I should be posting about. Apologies all around.

Billy's graphite drawings remind me of bulbous organs and inhabitants of far away galaxies all at once. His shading is impressive. Plus it looks like he may be a fan of owls and dogs, two faves of mine personally. Check out his website that is filled to the gills with drawings. I got lost in there for a minute.

Chrissie Abbott sent me a tote a few years ago, with the saying printed on it: In My Mind I Am Clapping. It is by far my most favorite bag to carry around with me. It's such a happy and kind of odd statement. It's the best really. I was hoping to get a new one, as mine has seen better days...but alas she is sold out. But her posters are on fire! So I thought I'd post about about them instead. I don't get a tote, but you guys get to look at some rad posters. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Arrow to Arrow.

Jess Fogel just alerted me to her latest endeavor, Arrow to Arrow. An online, meticulously curated, gallery/shop which offers one of a kind artwork, exclusive limited edition prints and other special small run products. It's just in it's beginning stages, what we like to call a soft opening here in the biz. (You can use that, it'll make you feel important. ;) At the moment Arrow to Arrow is offering work from our faves Lisa Congdon, Aidan Koch and Molly Schafer. I am really digging the thoughtful selections and I know you guys will too. Eat it up! I'll keep you posted as they add new items.

Loving this new simple but bold print by my friend and past banner contributor Ashkahn Shahparnia. Turning a classic song into a fun and playful print is Ashkahn's jam. Everything he touches adds a smile and a giggle to my face.
