Some 20 years ago, two friends Daniel Higgs and Kyle Ranson started a collaborative drawing excersize through brief encounters and the help of the postal system. In 2007, they decided to revisit their long standing collaboration and tonight Needles + Pens will not only have a selection of these drawings on show but they will also be releasing, Morph Traits, a collection of the these drawings. Published by Needles & Pens, Morph Traits is a 4-color, 60 page book, with letter press-style covers, printed in an edition of 500 copies. I took a bunch of pics at N+P yesterday of my copy, in the presence of the show. I was too excited to get home and find a fancy table top.
