Reader Krsitian Jones recently emailed me to share his drawings with me. I'm particulary fond of his creepy, silhouetted children in various states of spilled milk, dropped ice cream cones and blobby friends saying hello.

Take a look at Keira Rathbone's typewriter art - yep, she bangs out the images on a little orange typewriter she has been using since 2003. Wild.

In January, I posted about Jovi Schnell's amazing piece of public art mural; "Evolves the Luminous Flora" which just happens to be right around the corner from apartment. I had spoken a few times with Jovi about her mural and was really taken with her process and inspiration behind it. It's really interesting to hear all of the thought behind the piece. Recently, the SF Arts Commission walked through the mural with Jovi on their video series Culture Wire, discussing all of the symbolism and the work behind the mural. I am delighted to post it here so you can read it. I think you'll be really inspired. (You may recognize the photos ;)

Back in March the folks over at Doodlers Anonymous asked their readers to draw original artwork for their studio walls -- they got a bunch of submissions, which you can see here, there are some great ones! They teamed up with Bilk and turned three of the designs into limited edition wall decals. I'll moving soon and I am loving the pink mesh! You can see the other two designs at DA.
