Carlie Armstrong is a photographer who recently started her project, Work.Place where she documents the work spaces of artists and craftspeople in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Portland, Oregon. Armstrong's photographs, (and they are in fact photographs -- all captured on Twin Lens Reflex camera) have a private and personal vibe to them, giving us a priviledged look into a space we might never get to see. I've chosen a few of my favorite images from her visits. Please visit her site to get the full experience, it's charming, warm and very special.
