ADHD shortened/TMTR synopsis: I'm going to start writing about things other than just art, and sharing all sorts of things I want on here. M'kay? Oh and the blog is getting a new look in a week. Sweet, Good talk! <3 meigs

Hi! Well, my summer break from blogging ended up lasting a heck of a lot longer than I thought it would!
One of the most amazing things that has come from this blog is my now career in community management and working on the Internetz. I was recruited last year around this time by a major Internet company, to come work for them. It was good timing, as I was working full time on the blog and honestly I had started to feel really burned on blogging -- so I took a break to focus on this amazing opportunity that had presented itself to me. In January I came back to blogging and started up again, I missed it.
I didn't stay long at the job I mentioned, as I found my current job that was a much better fit. And I love it. I get to work with super passionate users (and co-workers) and it's fun, challenging and I'm so lucky to have the job I do. I laugh so much at work. And it's all because of this blog and the path it put me on.
With any new job there is a lot to learn, so I figured I would dial the blog back. Ultimately I stopped blogging in August suddenly. I was exhausted and really because my heart just hasn't been in it. What was once my passion started to feel like a chore. Ugh, right?
So let's cut to the chase: I have to be honest, I don't want to write about just art any more.
I thought I would start another blog -- keep this space what ML4U has become, leave it as a catalog of sorts. I wanted to respect that this is an art blog and leave it. But this space is also mine and I've grown over the past 5 years and put a ton of work into this space. I'd like to take the blog with me into the next chapter and see what happens.
You'll see a slight change in content and most likely a more personal touch going forward(you'll also see a new look starting next week!). I'll still cover art and continue with the podcasts, studio and gallery visits, etc. But I would just like to have a little more freedom to share about...things that matter to me on all different levels. That's reasonable, right?
I hope you'll still stay subscribed and come with me -- I'd love it if you would. But I also understand that the shift may not be for everyone. I'm ok with that, god knows there is so much to see out there! So stick around or don't...what ever you do decide; thanks for tagging along this far. I'm super grateful for your company.
Ok, sorry about the wall of text...but I could only edit so much. Let's get back to 250 characters or less blog posts!
love,
meighan
