I keep getting amazing emails from readers about their work this week. I'm so grateful that people send me such beautiful things.
Leah J. Durant's photographs, oh boy. Such striking and beautifully moody photographs. Each one gives me this overall feeling of a big, beautiful sigh. They seem to be teetering between love and darkness, happy and sad -- leaving the choice up to you. Personally they remind me of that moment before a torrential down pour and a rainbow in the sky.

These photos are so beautiful. I love the grain from the film too. I really need to shoot more film this year!

Thanks Jennifer! I felt the same way -- as soon as I saw them I was like ooooh, I want to make cocoa, pray for rain and put records on. ;)

The texture works so well here....
I'm lost in ideas of place and placelessness right now, in the best way possible. I was writing about poem about placelessness, reading articles about disappearing spaces and then I saw your recent post with that gorgeous Bon Iver video...
Thank you for these posts...
