Judging by twitter, facebook and the other various ways I keep in touch with my friends all over the globe it seems like everybody had a stellar weekend. Here Gallery: Across The Way.

Here Shop & Gallery, in Bristol England, opens their doors next Thursday for Across The Way, a new exhibition with four Bristol based illustrators Adam Hancher, Jack Hudson, Luke Jinks and Owen Gatley. All four artists are currently at the University of West England. From the looks of the work that Here Gallery has sent over via the www tubes, it looks like it's going to be a delightful show full of well done and solid, engaging work. Each of these fellows are super talented, I would encourage you to check them out individually as well as at the show if you can make it.

Originally from Moscow, Yulia Yakushova calls Prague (twice over now) home. During the day she works as an editorial illustrator, but her drawing doesn't stop there. Outside of work she draws posters at home with friends for local partys in Prague. Ahhh, to draw all day. What a life! Yulia sent me a bunch of her illustrations, both personal and professional...check them out.

Ana Benaroya X Reed & Radar.

Ana Benaroya recently animated fashion photographs in the online mag 160g magazine. Pamela Reed and Matthew Radar shot the images. They're divine. I wish I had the patience (ie: time) to sort out the gifs so they stay animated...alas, I don't. See the images in action here. They're wonderful and inspiring you'll be happy you clicked.

Lisa Hanawalt.

Lisa Hanawalt recently released her book, I Want You through Buenaventura Press. It's chock full of Lisa's super rad drawings. If you hurry you may be able to snatch up one of the signed and doodled in copies by Lisa. Also available on her website is her award winning 'zine Stay Away From Other People.
