Erin Loechner the beauty and the brains behind Design For Mankind, is seriously an inspirational inducing machine. Her latest project Dialogue, is a series of videos where she has asked all kinds of peeps from all over the creative spectrum to share their experience and advice. Along with Kate Bingaman-Burt and Will Bryant, I was asked to talk about how my family responds to the life I choose to lead as a "creative individual." It was a lot of fun and I was delighted to be a part of it. Make sure to check out the rest of the series and get involved in the dialogue! ***the above picture was taken from Kate! Lisa Marie Godfrey posted this clip on Facebook, and it brought me right back to a few years ago when I first discovered Art:21. I watched all the clips on Margaret Kilgallen obsessively. When I first heard of Margaret in the early 2000's, what blew me away was that she was a street artist that was influenced by folk art. It was both dynamic and unconventional. She was so talented, and soooo ahead of her time, total renegade. Anyway, I just wanted to post it because I believe she is a truly inspirational woman who beyond her life continues to inspire. If you are a fan of Margaret's I strongly encourage you to get In The Sweet Bye & Bye. Giant Robot was rad enough to take on the 2nd reprinting of this book.
