One of the things that I want to start doing is adding a little more of my personal life on the blog. Mainly because I just want to get to know you readers better, and let you get to know me — I think 4 years is a good amount of time to start getting personal. ;) And also because I think it's a good direction to go: more personal, more fun.
A good friend of mine bought a home in Pacifica and with it came a feral kitty. Probably one of the friendliest feral kitties I have ever met! She gave birth recently (and has since been spayed) to 3 adorable little furballs.
I brought one home this weekend. I am not 100% sure if it's a boy or girl yet. I'm about 50% certain he's a boy after looking. Cause you know them's the odds.
At the moment he's in my bathroom and not very happy. But he's so cute. Through support and advice from friends, twitter and online reading of feral kittens — I think he'll be good. He sure is vocal. He's real funny cause he hisses like none other but will not bite or scratch me!
The above pic is when I first brought the little beastie home. Below is a pic from before he left his mama — taken by my friend. His/her name is Percy.
Have you had experience with wild kitties that aren't stoked to be in your home? What have you done to ease them into their new surroundings? I'd love to hear your experience.
