Jef Aersol Stencils Jay-Z.

I love street art, stencils in particular and I love me some Jay-Z, so I was extremely stoked to see Jef Aerosol's latest stencil. In preparation for his upcoming show in New York, Aerosol designed the stencil as a shout out to the famous Brooklyn-ite. Five layers, hand cut and it's AH-mazing. DAMN. See some great pics of it and the process behind it over at BSA. It's a fascinating process, if you've never seen layered stencils done before. Let me tell you, Jef Aerosol makes this stuff look sooo easy and it is the farthest thing from. All Shook Up opens January 29th at Eastern District.

Logan Hicks X Brooklyn Street Art: New Mural.

Logan Hicks just finished 'Sailor' his largest mural to date with Brooklyn Street Art at Espeis Outside. Inspired by his son, his latest stencil moves away from the urban city-scapes he's known for and moves into newer territory that's closer to home. Insert Metaphor Here, the two man show with Adam 5100 and Seth Armstrong opened last week at Tampa's Red Letter 1. I just received a boatload of opening night pics from Adam! Just in case you aren't in the vicinity of the sunshine state, you can sit in your air conditioned cubicle and catch a glimpse of this solid show. Check out that last photo, Adam saw the Space Shuttle taking off as he arrived at the airport. Pretty Rad.
