the images taken by jon edwards go a little something like this: beauty meets the 70's meets the x-files. don't get me wrong, i find jon's work to be gorgeously haunting. they leave me feeling funny and i kinda like that. funny in a dreamy way. jon's photographs are a bit beyond explanation, the beauty is so astounding. you can check out for yourself on his flickr page or read his live journal: don't be a dead cat. jon will also be a part of a book called fjord that will be showcasing young, up and coming photographers. it should be mentioned though that my analogy of jon's work isn't really appropriate as he was born in 1990. damn. so young and so talented. so amazing. keep an eye on him...i think big things are on his horizon.
