loving this print and pouch from forestbound over on etsy.  the print just speaks to my belief that one can never have too much hope.  and as for the pouch, well a girl can't ever have enough vessels to hold things either!  i'm a big fan of corduroy.  i just love it.  in fact one of the biggest things i miss about not living in sf any more is that i will no longer be able to wear corduroy skirts all yr round.  ahhh, problems.  forestbound uses all reclaimed materials w/in her work.  i love how her style is rustic w/ an edge to it.  a nice break from classic w/ a twist.  so cute.

newton interviews wilfrid wood.

last november i wrote a post on the sculptor wilfrid wood.  i can't gush enough about wilfrid's work.  his characters are hilarious, creepy and adorable all rolled into one.  there is a great interview over at newton w/ wilfrid.  it really made me think about doing what one loves in life.  perfect w/ a nice cup of coffee. interview here.

luke best.

last week i posted about all the great, new stuff over at peepshow.  i really love all of it.  but i have to say, i am especially found of luke best's stuff.  his msg of positivity is awesome.  and right now i feel like we could all do w/ a good dose of positivity for so many reasons.  but at this very moment, let's just go w/ the reason, the plain fact, that positivity just flat out rules.

hannah barton.

i really dig hannah barton's sensibilities.  her love of animals and fear of harm to them comes over as a whisper and sits very still right smack in front of you making it hard to ignore.  her zebra piece, is almost funny until you really start thinking about all of those damn trinkets...littered all over the world, getting in the way.  but never fear, if that's too heavy for your weary head check out hannah's pics of pedals and cassettes, guaranteed to make you want to dance the pain away.
