i had read a lot about rare device leading up to my visit in sf. i had stumbled upon something's hiding in here on etsy and that brought me to rare device...which as we all know how the world works, i started hearing about the little shop everywhere. it opened it's sf location just after i moved back to boston, so i was excited to finally visit the cute little shop.
well, i have to say i was a bit obsessed. they carry such beautiful things. great art and design books, BEAUTIFUL jewelry, great prints, housewares...oh the list goes on and on. it is a definite destination if you are in sf. i was really excited to see amy ruppel's work up in the alcove of the store. i had just purchased pins from the artist through tiny showcase. i love amy's encaustic paintings. plus, how great is that mural?
