I recently discovered Kristin Cammermeyer through the Fontanelle gallery online. (I also just recently discovered Fontanelle as well! It's an amazingly curated online shop and brick and mortar gallery in Portland, Oregon.) Kristin explores loss of control and fear through her work both visually and thematically. I love when an artist tweaks a medium in an unexpected way, a lot of the paintings you see here are many different mediums working together beautifully. Spray enamel, paint pen, acrylic, oil...just to name a few. I'll have another post of Kristin's work up towards the end of the month mentioning bits and bobs of what's new for her.
