I couldn't think of a warmer and more colorful studio visit to post today than Lisa Romero's cozy work space. Lisa's long been a favorite of mine because of her steadfast commitment to craft and color. Her work has a sort of retro edge, consistently banging out illustration after illustration of foxy dames and beardo weirdos. A true workhorse when it comes to painting, Lisa is continually upcyclcing and recycling everything she touches turning each item into an arts and craft wonderland. I just love her world. Lisa invited me over for coffee with her husband Isaac and their adorable babe Bebe. One of the things I greatly appreciate about Lisa's work is her broad range of illustrative range. I captured a bit of it here, but be sure to check out her newly revamped website so you can get a detailed look at her style.
