I write this blog post as a letter to you today because I have no idea how else to write this post other than to address it you, the readers, as a letter. I started and stopped so many times, it just seemed to make sense to address it as a letter instead of a standard blog post.
I can't even begin to put into words what ML4U has brought in to my life. I have met so many amazing and wonderful people in both real life and online. I have been introduced to so many beautiful and extrodinary expressions of creativity and art. I have had the opportunity to curate shows. I have been invited into studios, homes and gallerys. I moved back to SF. All because of this blog. I am so grateful for everything that has entered my life, all of it because of this fluid vessel on the web. Everyday I am so thankful that I started toying around with the medium five years ago. I had no idea what I was doing, I just did it. And now here I am. And things are good, better than good.
Blogging is a total form of creation and connection for me. I am a blogger, through and through. I have truly found my calling in life. But like everything in life, we all need a break at times from stuff. As some of you may have noticed, I haven't really blogged since I was home in Boston, there are a couple of reasons for that. The main one being time.
So I write this letter to you, to just tell you that I am going to take a little break from blogging here at ML4U. I am not sure for how long...it could be a week, it could be a month or more. But I will for sure be back. Heck, I could be back on Tuesday for all I know. I'm just not sure, to be honest. But in all seriousness, whenever I do come back, the blog will most likely be a bit different. But until then, what that means will remain to be seen.
Most importantly though, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for dropping by and helping me to create this space with your energy of showing up. It means the world to me that you write me emails, that you leave comments and that you have supported my voice this long. Thank you.
You can still find me on twitter and facebook sharing links and stuff. I will also continue with the tumblr. And I am also on pinterest. AND you can find me on sfgirlbybay every Wednesday. So I'll still be sharing lots and lots of stuff. Just in a different way. You know, same but diff.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday season. I hope each and everyone of you gets to spend it with your loved ones. I will see you all somewhere on the super information highway, if not back here in a minute.
this seems like a fitting way to end this letter:
my love for you is a stampede of horses,
meighan
