Toxic Longing.
I am beside myself that I landed a ticket to get down to NYC for the day to Ooooops. Got a little ahead of myself and thought Tiffany's show opened Saturday night, nope...it's TONIGHT!
Check out Tiffany Bozic's solo show, Confiding in Strangers which opens Saturday Friday night at Joshua Liner Gallery. Tiffany's work is absolutely breathtaking in general, but in person it's a whole other level. Her ability to capture and render plant and animal life is nothing short of astounding. Hyperbolic adjectives and descriptions do not do her work justice.
About this latest group, in Tiffany's words: “I use examples from nature to help me describe these increasingly complex emotions, expanding my own metaphorical language. These works are small reminders that we are nature; connected to everything.”
Below and above is a small example of the work that will be on display. Confiding in Strangers features thirteen medium-sized works in acrylic on maple-wood panel and eighteen watercolor-on- paper works. Each equally as gorgeous as the next.
Confiding in Strangers opens November 11th and runs through December 11, 2010 at Joshua Liner Gallery.
