How I Loved You
Claire Colette shares her meticulous graphite drawings from her upcoming show, Small Mad Hope at the Belljar's boutique gallery here in SF. Claire described her latest group to me:
"This series is about time and love and death. How we search for and run from these things, how we can get stuck in a moment, or experience many moments at once, and how this relates to our understanding of the physical universe and our place in it."
I love how each of her paintings seem like a peek into one's memory via film strip.
Small Mad Hope opens May 13th from 6-9 at Belljar.
