One of the rooms that I always visit, when I go to the SFMOMA is the Paul Klee room. So I was pretty excited to get to view Images in Dialogue Paul Klee & Andrew Schoultz. I think Klee is an artist that a lot of people admire. Wether or not you're influenced by him within your art, his work is dynamic and spans over so many decades -- and is really beautiful in it's own right. Andrew Schoultz was invited by SFMOMA to come in and explore Klee's work and create his own work around it, hence a dialogue between the two artists.
Schoultz had a small, private viewing last Friday. I have to say it was a pretty cool experience to see a contemporary artist like Schoultz sharing the same space, as Klee. Impressive and moving.
You can see the entire set of images on Flickr.
The below was a favorite of mine of Klee's and below that of Schoultz'.
