Debra Baxter Jewelry.

I have posted Debra Baxter's fine art in the past. You might remember her piece: Crystal Brass Knuckles (Iam going to relign your chakras motherf*cker)? If you aren't familiar with it, get. It's one of the best pieces of sculpture I've ever seen.

Debra also has a gorgeaous line of jewels as well. She recently launched a new site with her gorgeous crystals juxtaposed agians her father, David Baxter's photography. Aptly her new site is named DB/CB.

In 2003, sisters and bffs, Eunice and Sabrina Moyle co-founded their stationary company Hello! Lucky in Eunice's garage with a vintage Vandercook press and a desire to own their own company. Sabrina does the numbers, while Eunice takes care of the creative side. It all began with Eunice's cards and invitations she made on the side for friends and family; together they built Hello! Lucky from the ground up.

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of their cuter than cute SOMA studio. The workshop is filled with lots of natural light, color and creativity. Everywhere you turn is their signature quirky, modern vintage style; ribbons, flowers, white washed wood and of course all the stationary you could ever imagine. In every space you looked sat greeting cards, wedding Invites and so much more. It was such a fun visit.

Hello! Lucky makes both digital and letterpress printings. The letterpress is all done in house on enormous, beautiful presses. While I was there James one of the printers was working on detailed beautiful, business cards of their marketing manager (a close friend of mine) Christina Loff. It was amazing to see all of the detail in these gorgeous cards. Meanwhile, Max the other half of the printing duo -- cut adorable 'we belong together' salt & pepper shaker cards. Katharina Grosse's Psychedelic Wonderland.

Mass MOCA is well known for it's larger than life exhibitions. And Katharina Grosse's One Floor Up More Highly is no exception. Although the show closed at the beginning of the month it would be rediculous of me to not post these images...mind-blowing color and scale. one word: LOVE.

Nicola Yeoman: In Waiting.

British artist Nicola Yeomen sent me images of her site specific installation "In Waiting". Oh how, I'd love to be able to walk around this warehouse. Yeoman does such an incredible job with incorporating her surroundings within her over all pieces.

”In Waiting”, a sculpture composed principally of drapery and cement, is part of a series of circular installations in different materials that form an ongoing body of work. The installation is part of a series of six circular sculptures using different materials that Yeoman has photographed and which are available as a signed, limited edition portfolio.

"In Waiting" is on display now through March 17, 2012 at Wyer Gallery. A Limited edition, boxed portfolio set of six prints: ‘Scrapbook Circles’ signed by the artist, is also available.

Fieldguided.

I wrote below that I'll be incorporating designers I find inspiring now on the blog. I figured what better way to start this new era than with the scarves I spotted on Fieldguided. Anabela has hinted a few times about scarves they are making...and I can not wait til they are available. Look at how gorgeous they are!
